Resources for Lyme Disease

Lyme Disease can mimic so many other illnesses which makes it difficult to diagnose and treat. If you suspect you may have it, find a Lyme Literate doctor and get tested! My first test in 2010 came back negative but I continued to get sick. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis by two different specialists but I refused to accept this or go on the harsh drugs they wanted to put me on. I continue to search for answers.

Finally in 2015, after going to a naturopathic Lyme Literate doctor, I was tested through Igenex. My doctor estimated I had Chronic Lyme for 6-10 years that went undetected and untreated! Speaking from personal experience, the best thing you can do is listen to your body, ask questions and educate yourself.

Igenex (Lyme Testing) Igenex is one of the few places in the country that can do accurate testing for Chronic Lyme.  It will explain why local test that are done in local labs will not pick up Lyme disease most of the time.
